LOCKED IN FOR 2026/27
The Solent Devils continue to build their new roster for the 2026/27 NIHL 1 South season tonight with the announcement of their 14th player!
Joining the squad, the Solent Devils are excited to announce the return of British Defenceman Ben Lock!
Lock’s 2025/26 season saw him return to playing a full season for the first time since 2023. In this season, Lock returned to form with his identity as a shut-down defenceman who puts his body on the line every night! Lock’s role was adjusted taking a more leadership role and helping to mould the younger defenceman like Jacob Hammond, while doing this he also put up some offensive numbers which saw him finish 9th in team assists and 2nd in defenceman points on the season!
This season, Lock returns for his 12th season with the Devils. In September, Lock will take the mantle of the Teams Captain until Calumn Perella-Fox returns to the line-up!
Ben Lock will continue to wear #71 for the Solent Devils.
