The Solent Devils reveal their brand new Theme Night schedule for the 2026/27 season!
The Solent Devils fan favourite Theme Nights are back in a big way for the 2026/27 season!
The Solent Devils Social Media pages will transform for each of the following themes bringing more opportunities for fans to get involved in the nights!
TEDDY BEAR TOSS NIGHT
The Solent Devils kick off with their first theme night on the 17th of October 2026 as they welcome the Romford Buccaneers to Planet Ice Gosport with the introduction for the teams very first Teddy Bear Toss!
The Teddy Bear Toss is a fan favourite across the hockey world which sees fans launch their new or old and unwanted Teddy Bears onto the ice following the home team (Solent Devils) first goal of the game!
These Teddy Bears are then gathered and collected to be bagged up to be donated to a local charity by some of the Solent Devils Players!
Begin finding any bears you would like to donate as part of the Devils collection now! We are excited to reveal more info about which charity we will be supporting on this night!
HALLOWEEN THEME NIGHT
Every year, the Solent Devils celebrate Halloween within their rink in a fan favourite game. This season, the Devils are at home on Halloween night as they welcome the Invicta Dynamos on the 31st of October 2026!
This game sees multiple halloween themed features throughout the night.
Halloween music will play throughout the night, getting fans into the *spirit*!
2 Halloween gameday competitions are back!
Halloween Fancy Dress Competition!
The Solent Devils invite their fans to arrive at the rink dressed in their best costumes, in the period breaks the Solent Devils supporters club will look over the costumes and select their 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners who will receive exclusive prizes from the team!
For the artistic and creative among the fan base, the Solent Devils are running a Pumpkin Carving Contest!
This competition will also feature a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner selected by the supporters club to receive prizes!
REMEMBRANCE DAY THEME NIGHT
Last season saw the Solent Devils pay a stunning tribute to their naval geographical connection with a remembrance jersey and ceremony. This season will be slightly different with some fan favourite tributes carried over.
On the 14th of November, the Solent Devils will welcome the Cardiff Fire to Planet Ice Gosport, this game will feature a respectful pre-game ceremony featuring service men and women in uniform from the local area, a 2 minutes silence to pay respects to those who have sacrificed their lives for ours, the last post played live on a bugle while wreaths are laid by each team captain.
We encourage fans to come sporting poppies and to join us in showing our respect to help us remember them.
CHRISTMAS SKATE
The final home game of the 2026 calendar year takes place on the 12th of December as the Devils welcome the Chelmsford Chieftains.
This game will be the Solent Devils Christmas Celebration!
We encourage our fans to join our players and staff in wearing ugly Christmas jumpers to the game!
We will be getting in the festive spirit with classic Christmas Songs!
This game will also feature our Christmas Skate with the Devils! Join the players on the ice after the game to skate, chat and get photos and autographs!
COUNTRY THEME NIGHT WITH JERSEY!
The Solent Devils fans show up big each year for the Solent Devils Country Theme Night!
This fan favourite night is going to get a huge boost this upcoming season with the introduction of the teams first theme night jersey!
The players on the ice will be sporting a brand new exclusive country inspired design which can be purchased by the fans to own a piece of Devils history!
On top of this, country music will play throughout the arena during the night with a live performance from a country singer!
The country singer will also perform our national anthem, and score depending may have another surprise in store for us all!
Help us make this game special by dressing up with us in country attiree!
The Solent Devils country theme night will take place on the 23rd January against the Swindon Wildcats 2
NEXT GENERATION TAKE OVER NIGHT
The Solent Devils are extremely proud to welcome families to our game week-in and week-out. We are also driven by our in-house development system which has seen many success stories rise through our ranks from Under 10s to NIHL1 and some even going on to play abroad, in the National League and the Elite League!
This season, the Solent Devils would like to celebrate this by showing off the next generation!
The Next Generation Take Over Night sees extra mascots take to the ice before and after the game!
The Solent Junior Devils Under 10s will put on a show in the period breaks playing a mini game showcasing their up-and-coming skills!
On top of this, the Next Generation will take over other gameday jobs, helping out our gameday volunteers and picking up new skills. They will also announce our home goals across the arena and help our media team with their socials with the kids re-creating the teams logos and drawing our players
To cap this celebration off, we encourage you to wear bright colours to make the night feel even more special for the future players, volunteers and fans in the building!
The Solent Devils Next Generation Take Over Night will take place on the 6th February against the Chelmsford Chieftains

BRAIN TUMOUR AWARENESS NIGHT WITH JERSEY
Last season saw the Solent Devils raise an incredible amount for Prostate Cancer UK as well as spreading important awareness across our socials to a cause unfortunately so close to so many in our community.
This season, the team looks to continue their important work with their Brain Tumour Awareness Night.
Another cause close to the team and members of our community, we hope to raise funds to help improve research and spread awareness of preventative measures and warning signs to look out for.
This game will see fans and volunteers cover the rink in grey to show support and spread awareness. The team will wear exclusive jerseys in support of the cause with all profits raised from the night being donated to a charity.
The Solent Devils Brain Tumour Jersey Night will take place on the final home game of the season as they welcome the Cardiff Fire on the 20th of March.
