The 21 year old returns for his 3rd season with the Devils following a brief stint in the USPHL with the Tamba Bay Juniors. During his time with Solent he has iced 65 times picking up 15 points in the NIHL 1.
Speaking on his return, the Isle of Wight born winger spoke of how settled he feels in this squad " I feel very comfortable at Solent, it's always nice to return to a team with familiar faces. I have made several friends and the club is an all round well run organised team."
Trendall continued by looking towards next seasons and the targets he has set himself and the team "My goal is to try and keep a good plus minus this season, and contribute more offensively. As a team we must be looking to finish in the top 3 during the regular season, and at least make the play off final, so it's my job to ensure we meet these goals."
Head coach Alex Murray has stated he is expecting Trendall to play a more pivotal role this season "Alex has been progressing well over the last two seasons, and due to the lose of some players an opportunity has been presented to him, for him to step up and play a more important role in the team. I will be looking for Alex to add goals to his game, he has great speed and handles the puck well, so finding the back of the net will complete Alex as a player."
Trendall will continue to wear the number 10 shirt. If you are interested in sponsoring Alex please contact email@example.com
