The best way to keep up to date with Solent Devils

Trendall extends stay at Solent

1 year ago By Alex Murray

Today the Solent Devils have re-signed British Forward Alex Trendall.

The former Wightlink winger returns to Solent for a second consecutive season with the club, following a stint with the Tampa Bay Juniors where he iced 31 times in the USPHL.

The soon to be 20 year old spoke of his reasons for returning; "There are so many reasons why I decided to return, I learnt so much about senior hockey whilst playing for the Devils, and the boys in the dressing room are amongst the best I've played with."

The 5'7 agile forward impressed Head Coach Alex Murray during his first season with Solent; "Alex had a good year and his ability is there for all to see. He is quick, agile & has a great shot. If Alex can perform week in, week out in this league, he will put up several points. I was also really happy with Alex's all round game, and he became a key part of our penalty kill unit, which was something I didn't expect."

In his first season with the club, Alex picked up 7 points in 35 games, as well as scoring 2 in 2 during the Playoff, quarter finals.

Trendall will wear the number 10 jersey this season and is looking for a own and loan sponsor. If you are interested in sponsoring Alex, please contact
