Speaking on signing for the Devils for his first full senior season, Perry spoke of his eagerness to get started " This season can not come quick enough. After getting a taste last year with the Devils squad, I am looking to push on and secure a regular place in the line up this season. Playing for Solent has always been an ambition of mine ever since I started skating with Solent & Gosport Juniors. Sampling the spirit and the way the more experienced players as well as Muzza encouraged me last season during training and matches lets me know this is where I want to be."
Head coach Alex Murray has spoken of Stewarts potential being he main reason behind his signing " Perry has so much raw talent, and potential we are keen to see if we can nurture that talent and help him progress in his hockey career. Perry understands the commitment and dedication required to be a Devil and during the summer he has shown me and the other senior members of the team his willingness to implement these traits. Perry will be pushing for a more regular spot in the line up this season, he is a natural goal scorer and with the right line mates, he can continue to score goals at this level."
Perry will wear the number #18 jersey again this season and has already secured a shirt sponsor. If you wish to sponsor a Devil please contact email@example.com
